I would recommend going a half size down. I wear orthotics and the fit is perfect and even when I took them out still good. The shoe is comfortable flat out no gimmicks the only concern would be the thin material on the shoe. Other than that it will out perform any shoe on the market, this is the curry 9 on steroids if I could compare the shoe

I like basketball shoes that are lightweight and have great grip. These shoes are EXTREMELY comfortable as far as basketball shoes go. As well, they don't feel too heavy. My one thing against them is that they don't use the traditional material as seen on basketball shoes for the soles. The grip is there, but it's a different type grip that takes getting used to. The pro is that you never have to wipe off your shoes, the grip is consistent. The con is that it takes some pressure to stop on a dime, unlike other shoes that provide immediate traction. As well, because it takes some getting used to, I've tripped a number of times because my foot gets caught. I'd describe other shoes to have a rubber grip (think a car tire), while these are more like a foam rubber (think a mechanical pencil eraser).
